Inside the walls of my home you would see a lot. You will see love, arguments, lice treatments, reading the ‘Secret Life Of Bee’s’ at bedtime, intensely vulnerable conversation, game nights that involve way too much giggling, creativity, laying down our lives for who God called us to be, parties, candle lit dinners to talk about our highs and lows, tears, anger, a calm that only Jesus can provide when the situation gets heated, sitting on the floor of our daughters room to process, hold, and cry with them, dancing, and so so so so much more. We don’t know each others homes. We know bits and pieces. There are layers to every situation and is far more complicated than how you may view it from the outside. Let’s be gentle. Let’s ask questions. Let’s give people the benefit of the doubt because we see very little from the outside. This piece has challenged me to love people and give them the benefit of the doubt. To have conversations and to love others even when it is hard.
